The below calendar is a list of events at Agua Caliente Park.
The combined Conservation Lands & Resources Dept and Parks and Recreation Dept registration site had become so full that it could be difficult to navigate to find what you are looking for.
Beginning with September programming, registration will be made by visiting www.DiscoverNature.pima.gov. Your account has been migrated to the brand new platform. Other than the new web address and simplified choices, the registration procedure remains the same.
Registration for August programs now listed on www.explore.pima.gov will also be available for registration on www.DiscoverNature.pima.gov

Photography Basics
Photography Basics:
Agua Caliente Park
Whether you’re using a cell phone or a professional camera, the basics of photography are the same. Things like aperture, shutter speed, and ISO can strike fear in those just starting out, so we’ll define them in basic terms and discuss when, why, and how to use them. We’ll start our learning in the classroom, go outside to explore the park to try out what we’ve learned, and finally review our pictures and discuss what worked well for us. If you have a camera, bring it. Point-and-shoot digital cameras will be available to borrow if needed.
Date: Friday, September 8
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Where: Agua Caliente Park, 12325 E. Roger Road 85749
Cost: $10 activity fee. Online registration required.
