The below calendar is a list of events at Agua Caliente Park.
The combined Conservation Lands & Resources Dept and Parks and Recreation Dept registration site had become so full that it could be difficult to navigate to find what you are looking for.
Beginning with September programming, registration will be made by visiting www.DiscoverNature.pima.gov. Your account has been migrated to the brand new platform. Other than the new web address and simplified choices, the registration procedure remains the same.
Registration for August programs now listed on www.explore.pima.gov will also be available for registration on www.DiscoverNature.pima.gov

LGBTQ+: A History in Arizona
LGBTQ+: A History in Arizona
with Marshall Shore
Saturday, January 28, 2023
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Historian Marshall Shore presents Arizona’s history of the LGBTQ+ community, which begins long before Arizona was a state, with the Native American belief of two-spirits, continuing on through to the seismic shift of Civil Union/ Marriage Equality. There are some surprises along the way as we talk about artists and Arizona connections to Warhol, Keith Haring, and those muscle magazines by George Quaintance. Where was the Trans Flag created and where is it now? There is also the little known story of a 1906 Russian gender pioneer named Nicolai De Raylan.
